11/2007: CONTEST! On December 1st, I'll be posting the rules for my first-ever major contest on my blog. (Hint: I'm going to let all of you out there have a laugh with me over my TELLING SECRETS cover. Or at me, if you prefer.)
The clever winner will receive a $25 BookSense or Barnes & Noble gift certificate, and your choice of any book from my backlist. (I even have a secret stash of some of the out of print ones. Or you could have a French copy. Or an Icelandic copy. Or an Italian copy. Or....)
So visit my blog (www.tracymontoya.blogspot.com) anytime from December 1 through noon on December 23, 2007 to find out the details and enter.

10/2007: If you missed Finding His Child when it hit stores in April, there are still copies available at Barnes & Noble online (www.bn.com). My next release, which features Alex Gray from Finding His Child, is Telling Secrets, coming to a bookstore near you on December 10, 2007. The book stands completely on its own, so you don't have to have read any of my previous books to understand it. I just like spinning off characters from that universe for some reason. And I wasn't ready to let my search and rescue team go, just yet.
You can also order Telling Secrets via exclusive early release starting November 1 at www.eharlequin.com. And, if you prefer e-books, several audio retailers, including www.fictionwise.com offer Intrigues via e-book.
I just turned in my April 2008 Intrigue, I'll Be Watching You, and I have to say, I'm wiped. Three books plus two preschoolers and a full-time job have officially kicked my booty. But after a bit of a break and probably one last cross-country move with my retiring Naval officer, I'll be resurrecting my sadly neglected blog and trying to figure out what comes next, and which of the characters from the universe inside my head needs a good scare. Right now, I'm thinking mad scientist. Yeah, mad scientist--haven't done one of those before....
Until then, have a wonderful holiday season, and don't forget to read with the lights on....

Anyway, my next Intrigue is finally coming out in April 2007. It’s Sabrina’s story (the youngest sister from my “Mission: Family” series), but it’s completely a stand-alone book, so you won’t miss a thing if you haven’t read the Mission series.
I have two more books under contract, which I'm working on right now. The first one is called Telling Secrets, and it's coming out December 2007. The second, out in 2008, is still to be determined, because I still have to write it!
9/5/2005: I just discovered that eHarlequin.com is now offering Intrigues for sale two months in advance of their release dates! So you can order HOUSE OF SECRETS, book one of the Mission: Family miniseries, right now! Here’s a link: HOUSE OF SECRETS on eHarlequin.
In between lugging Babyzilla around (Did I mention my belly is ginormous?), I’m busy working on new proposals for Intrigue (Which are very late. Bad Tracy!) and awaiting the release of my three-book MISSION: FAMILY miniseries this fall/winter, which come out in October, November, and December of this year.
I was also pleasantly surprised when my January 2004 release, MAXIMUM SECURITY, won the Golden Quill award for Best Romantic Suspense, the Beacon Award for Best Romantic Suspense, and the Daphne du Maurier award for Best Series Romantic Suspense. It was also nominated for Best Intrigue of 2004 by Romantic Times Bookclub, but I lost. In fact, I was going to put “Award-losing author Tracy Montoya” on my home page, just because I cracked myself up, but then I started receiving all that good news about the three aforementioned awards.
I’ll be lumbering down to St. Augustine, FL, to sign HOUSE OF SECRETS for the Romantic Inns and Writers tour on Oct. 2. For more details, you can visit www.staugustineinns.com. I’m also teaching a class on PLOTTING THE CATEGORY SUSPENSE for the Kiss of Death suspense chapter of the Romance Writers of America in January. For more details on that, you can visit: www.rwamysterysuspense.org.
1/24/2004: I just sold a new miniseries to Harlequin Intrigue. The MISSION: FAMILY three-book series is tentatively set for release in October, November, and December of 2005. More details as I get (and write!) them.
